The growth for an effective IT infrastructure has been positioned by many organizations as one of the top most priorities of their IT management on the whole. Building a strong IT infrastructure has risen to become the top concern in the management of IT. This research has been conducted with the purpose of The impact of flexible IT infrastructure and supply chain management practices on competitive advantage and financial. In terms of goal the research was functional and in terms of collecting data it was descriptive-Experimental Research. The population in this research was the top managers of Industry and manufacturing companies in the city of Ahvaz and the sample size was 217 persons . Measurement tool was a questionnaire research variables. also Data analysis was performed using LISREL software.The results indicate that higher levels of SCM practice can lead to enhanced competitive advantage and improved Financial performance. Also higher levels of IT infrastructure flexibility can lead to enhanced competitive advantage but can not have a direct positive impact on Financial performance and competitive advantage can have a direct, positive impact on Financial performance

Knowledge in our modern world is regarded as a vital tool for the maintenance and progress of the organization. That is, in today’s competitive world, lacking the necessary knowledge won’t guarantee the organization success. In the present article,theeffect of creating knowledge was studied based onfour-stage model by Nonaka&Takeuchi in gaining competitive advantage the six-element model presented by Mintzberg (Quality-Design-Indiscriminacy-Price-Logistics-Image) and surveyed in different branches of KarAfarin Bank in Tehran. In This research, following experts’ idea, the plan Questionnaires was provided including two sections. The first part of which were in search of evaluating creating knowledge indexes and the second part tried to evaluate the competitive status as presented Mintzberg’s six-element of competitive advantage, were prepared .These questionnaires were distributed among 185 members of managers and the experts. After that, the necessary statistical analyses were carried out and the hypothesis of the existence of positive and meaningful effect in creating knowledge in obtaining competitive advantage quadruple dimensions of sociality , externalizing , combining and internalizing were confirmed and ascertained that back

This study aims at the investigation the role of Integration of informationsystems in acquiring competitive advantages for an organization. The studyis practical regarding to its aim, descriptive regarding to its type and frommethodology point of view, is considered assurvey, regarding the statisticalpopulation includes all the clerks of information technology section ofHamkaran System Software Company(160 people)who are all in connectionwith the information systems. The sample is chosen according to Morgantable, 105 people were included. A provided questionnaire was used forcollecting data and Alpha Cronbach coefficient was used for examiningreliability of questionnaire. The results show that the integrity of informationsystems increase coordination and cooperation between the organizationunits through enlarging capacity of organization, and then improves itscompetitive advantages

This research has been conducted with the purpose of employing information technology (IT) in organizations. To this end, the present research, titled “The Impact of Characteristics of Employing IT on the Organizational Performance and the Competitive Advantage in Organizations”, was done, thereby resulting in achievement of the conceptual model of research. This model entails three factors or hidden variables, namely, IT practicing, organizational performance, and competitive advantage, each of which has some indicators. IT has four indicators: economic, security, Correctness & authenticity of information, and speed of information and communications. Organizational performance has also four indicators, i.e. customer, finance, human resources, and organizational efficacy. Competitive advantage also consist of five indicators, that is, price/cost, quality, timely delivery of product or service, and innovation & time of delivery to the market. Based on this model, the Questionnaire for measuring the indices was designed and distributed among 85 managers of IT and information systems nationwide and collected after completion. Data obtained from this Questionnaire regarding research hypotheses in the form of a single model suggest that IT factors affect organizational performance and competitive advantage in addition to security.
