Abstract:
Nowadays, managers face new issues in organizations due to the development of information and communication technologies and the emergence of virtual teams. This research tries to investigate the relationship between the trust and effectiveness of the virtual teams with an emphasis on knowledge sharing. The statistical population was the employees working in virtual teams in Tebyan Cultural Institute affiliated with Islamic Advertising Organization. 40 virtual teams with 200 employees were selected and the data was collected by a questionnaire and data was analyzed through path analysis using AMOS software. The results have shown that when the knowledge sharing variable is in a desirable amount, the trust components have a more positive impact on the effectiveness of virtual teams.
