Effective knowledge-based processes are essential for companies operating in the information technology industry. These processes rely on the expertise of skilled workers and play a crucial role in the value chain of such organizations. Decision-making is a critical element of knowledge-based processes, highlighting the need to identify decision rules and models accurately. In this paper, we examine the process of identifying and deciding on proposed ideas in the software industry, analyzing decision logs from a leading software company. The Rough sets theory and fast Reduction algorithm are employed to provide a step-by-step approach to data analysis and decision mining. The algorithm identifies vital features used in decision-making and presents the decision model as if-then rules, utilizing existing equivalence rules between data. The results demonstrate that this model can significantly reduce the direct involvement of decision-makers and the duration of the decision-making process.

Strategic planning plays a key role in the future success of organizations. Information technology as an emerging field in Iranian organizations requires strategic planning to succeed. In this study, after a systematic review of the IT strategy development methods and the evolution of these approaches, an indigenous approach is developed to develop the IT strategy of the distribution companies. This method is a quantitative-qualitative hybrid. During this five-phase study, the organization's cognition is based on the information architecture of processes, and then based on the business and IT alignment perspective, achieving optimal status in information technology infrastructure library as one of the business and information technology alignment methods with the IT governance approach, is followed. By matching the business processes of the electricity distribution and information technology infrastructure library, the status quo and the desired status in each process were determined based on the opinions of business experts. Accordingly, the processes of service continuity management, service catalog management and service portfolio management were the most distant from the desired situation, and for the other processes the same gap analysis was performed. Based on the distance analysis, appropriate strategies were provided for each of the information technology infrastructure library processes according to the best practices.

Today, advanced technologies are considered as one of the most vital components of business, industry and services and a strategic factor for the economic development of countries. Some researchers consider advanced technologies as the heart of wealth generation in the organizations, and it is almost impossible to provide competitive products and services in a global environment without using the required advanced technologies. Given the importance and the role of technology, especially advanced technologies, in creating competitive advantage for organizations, one of the key issues regarding such technologies is acquisition and the acquisition method. This qualitative research, by adopting a risk analysis and management approach in the field of technology acquisition, seeks to explore a conceptual model of the acquisition of advanced technologies for the Information Technology (IT) industry using Grounded Theory. To collect data, 15 semi-structured interviews were conducted with the experts in the field of IT and technology management and acquisition. The sampling was performed using judgment and snowball techniques. Data analysis was done using MAXQDA10 software which resulted in the emergence of 105 concepts and codes, 23 sub-categories, and 5 main categories. This article aims to achieve a conceptual model of advanced technology acquisition with emphasis on information technology analysis and risk management, taking into account the environmental conditions prevailing in the country's information technology industry. The proposed conceptual model was developed with emerging design approach and the results of the research were explained as theoretical propositions.

Natural disasters and unexpected events such as earthquakes, floods, storms, droughts and fires entail different parts of the world annually, and the lack of preparation and appropriate solution inflicts heavy casualties and losses on nations and their assets, which are sometimes irrecoverable. The fire and collapse of the Plasco building, in Tehran, the recent earthquake in Sar-e-Pul Zahab, in Kermanshah, was also a disaster that, in addition to heavy financial losses, has caused deaths and many worries about other old buildings and unforeseen incidents. In this regard, information is a key stimulus of the humanitarian supply chain, because, without proper and adequate information, a relief team cannot estimate the aspirations of the injured peoples. In this research, after reviewing the literature and interviews with managers and experts in the field of rescue and crisis management, 10 critical success factors of the use of information technology in human resource supply chain management were extracted. Then, the relationship between these factors was explained by interpretive structural modeling technique and factors were placed on 5 levels. In the following, using fuzzy DEMATEL technique, the severity of the relationship between the specified factors and a conceptual map (causal and causal relationships of factors) was proposed, in which 7 factors were identified as effective factors and 3 were identified as influential factors. According to the final results, "hiring of knowledge workers" as the most influential factor in the lowest level and "strategic planning" was recognized as the most influential factor in the highest level, which requires serious attention of the managers of rescue and relief and management of the country's crisis.

To collect the required data, a stratified sampling technique was utilized and a sample of 155 people was selected using Cochran’s formula. Data were collected using a researcher made questionnaire and its reliability was calculated using Cronbach’s alpha technique. The results show that, the impact of human capital on the business value of information technology is significant. In other words, the findings suggest that as the human capital is increased, the business value of information technology is increased as well. On the other hand, the results show that organizational characteristics have no significant impact on the business value of information technology.

The research method is descriptive survey and the statistical population consisted of 440 staffs. Using Kredjcie-Morgan table, 205 individuals were selected as statistical sample. For data collection, Spreitzer (1995) questionnaire which contains 13 questions and a self-made questionnaire consisting of 65 items were used. Validity of questionnaires was confirmed by experts in the related fields and the reliability of information technology and empowerment questionnaires were calculated 0.784 and 0.916, respectively. To analyze the data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used. The results showed that there exists a significant relationship between information technology and the staff empowerment (p = 0.012). Also, the relationship between information technology and the staffs empowerment were tested and it was found that there is a positive and significant relationship between information technology and 4 dimensions of sense of competence (p = 0.035), sense of effectiveness (p = 0.034), sense of meaningful (p = 0.019), and sense of autonomy (p = 0.020).v

The companies and their websites were analyzed as the sample of Iranian insurance industry using content analysis methodology. The analysis was performed considering factors such as e-recruitment, e-learning, e-compensation, and e-reward and their related sub-factors. The results show that top insurance companies pay more attention to e-recruitment and e- training less attention to e-compensation and e-reward. Also, among the e-recruitment sub-categories, more emphasis were put on filling in the forms and among the e-learning sub-categories, training news announcement and holding online training have the highest frequency. Considering e-compensation sub-categories, the companies provided access to view payroll and welfare news on their websites with a weak level of performance. In general, it can be said that these companies does not have a desirable status from e-HRM point of view and have a limited number of e-HRM categories.

Unfortunately in developing countries primary needs havebeen led to one-dimension and illogical tendency to manufacturing hasbeen decreased quality level in services sector. Therefore in this research, improving services in Information Technology (IT) industries has been investigated.QOS is an effective and efficient method for realizing customersatisfaction in an organization which used a lot in our country to meet customers’needs. Therefore in this research, I tried to suggest a combinationalmodel of Quality of Services (QOS), Fuzzy VIKOR technique and DataEnvelopment Analysis (DEA) technique to improve and to develop qualitymodel in services area and decrease lack of research on this subject.

Observing more complexity in organization working life has become inevitable. In addition, population growth, needs, and clients expectations have led organizations to automate their working systems and procedures. This study concentrated on two different types of organizations which utilized different systems and means of work operations: progressive and automated means of operations as opposed to mechanical and /or traditional means of work implementation and performance. Testing hypotheses and research findings gathered from four different types of organizations indicated that organizations which utilize information technology and better Administrative automation meet their predetermined goals and objectives more effectively and significantly
